How to not invite family without hurting feelings?

Everything is budgeted for 125 people but grooms side of family is huge. How do you sent invites to some but not to others without hurting feelings?

We’re 15 and we have been together for 3 months. I really like him and I am a little nervous that his family (mom dad older sister& twin brother are going) won’t like me. Any tips? I feel like i am stressing out over nothing.

Is it a better idea to start at the top, with older generations, or at the bottom, with my generation? Any tips would be great.

A wedding that is not small but not really big either.
And what makes it a big wedding? Is it the number of guests?
If so, where is the cut off between average size and large?
